History
Our building has a long history in Portland, history you can still see today. Many people don't realize this building was built adjacent to the railroad tracks in the early 1900s. The train cars would bring in marble and granite for the workers here at LL Jones & Son to cut and engrave headstones. The finished products were then carted from this building up to Riverview Cemetery at the top of Taylors Ferry Road and set at the grave sites.

It wasn't until July of 1986 when Marque Motors opened its doors. Slowly building a clientele by handing out each business card and each piece of advertising personally. No computers, a hand operated slide visa machine and invoices written by hand; Marque Motors was a one man show.

Our 3500 square foot shop now has a staff of highly qualified technicians, a parts manager, four automotive bays, an alignment bay, up-to-date equipment, on-line automotive support network and a great alliance of interconnected local businesses.
